Elon Musk's tweets about political issues will hurt the future productions of Tesla

I think his recent opinions about Ukraine and Taiwan are not good and all CEOs should avoid saying stuff like that to keep making their businesses competitive.

Apple is a great example of never posting the political views and focusing its products. Steve Jobs removed unprofitable projects except Mac after returning to CEO and said consistently focusing was important for business and life.

Tesla and Apple have similar strategies and brand icons. Both are the technology frontiers that make other competitors look simple copying machines and cheap. Mac is beautiful and Model S is cool. The market capital of Tesla will not overtake Apple until Elon Musk stops talking.
